A slowly dawning reality

The sad truth is that the gulf coast--Tallahassee, Mobile, New Orleans, Galveston, Corpus Christi--is going to be hammered and hammered and hammered by Cat5 hurricanes for the foreseeable future. It will soon be a no-man's land that insurance companies will not cover. What will we call this fractured, flooded zone, this spawn of global warming?
